Rob Mercer and his team are simply phenomenal! My review is actually about 9 years late. He was able to move mountains to get us to an on-time closing even during an impending government shutdown at the time. It was a fast-paced and exhilarating experience! He educated me every step of the way. I recall that it took 3.5 weeks to closing after submitting an offer! Everything that everyone has stated here is so very true. I could just copy and paste from almost any review listed here and use it as my own. We wanted to use this space to give a special shout out to Rob Mercer from First Home Mortgage! As first time home-buyers, we were very unsure of what to expect when it came to financing options. Considering the amount of money, moving parts, interest rates, etc., we were feeling very overwhelmed and unsure of ourselves. After comparing many different banks, credit unions, internet banks, we scheduled our first call with Rob. Within the first 5 minutes, we knew we had the right guy and company for the job. Rob was very transparent with us throughout the process and didnt make any promises that he couldnt keep. He was always available to walk us through a loan estimate, explain every line item, and every document needed for the loan. He'll take the time (even on nights and weekends) to answer every last question you have. His customer service focused approach and professionalism were unparalleled. We truly felt that he had our best interests at heart, and he did everything in his power to make sure we were happy from beginning to end. On top of all that, Rob is a really nice person who will keep you laughing, even at an incredibly stressful time. I would highly recommend the team over at First Home, specifically Rob Mercer for any of your financing needs. We will definitely be using him in the future!

Rob Mercer was fantastic to work with. He was exceptionally responsive throughout the entire process and fielded all my first time mortgage questions. He worked with our agent on a very tight schedule and we felt fully supported at every stage. Were beyond excited to be moving into our first home and highly recommend working with Rob and First Home.
