Update: I've been to Dr. Various three times now since my first visit two years ago (I know I am not keeping up with dental appointments). I recently had cavities filled and Dr. Vargus was very gentle. I was so scared because I've never had cavities but it was painless to get filled. My experience visiting Dr. Vargas was such a positive experience. I haven't been to the dentist in years but knew it was time, and this was my first time visitingthis office. The staff assisted me as soon as I walked in. The Dental Hygienist was patient with me and talked me through everything that she was doing. The Dentist was transparent with me and didn't recommend any extra unnecessary services, he provided specific care for my specific needs. I found my dentist who I'll be visiting every six months.

Moved to Bowie and wanted a dentist near my house. I was told I needed multiple fillings and two crowns. Keep in mind that I had no pain or issues with any of my teeth and due to the great reviews I didnt get a 2nd opinion. First crown went okay and second one Dr. Smith (? Female that does crowns) damaged my nerve and I needed a root canal (my first ever & 2k bill). To confirm that it was a nerve damage she saw me for less than 5 mins during her lunch break and didnt say sorry or anything that would make me feel better. I was shocked that I received a bill for that 5 minute interaction. I went back to my old dentist and they didnt find all the cavities be aware!

I was seen after a very short wait at exactly my appointment time. The tech who performed my X-rays was thorough and knowledgeable. Dr McEnroe examined my teeth then performed the cleaning. After her conclusions was shared with me regarding my examination my visit was complete. I was very satisfied.

This dental practice is professional, compassionate, very timely with appointments. I most definitely recommend this practice to anyone in search of dental care in the area. As with many others, the dentist is not my favorite place to be but the staffs compassionate spirit has alleviated my anxiety with every visit!
