The Turn House

I live very close to Turn House and have dined there several times. Ive even left other, more positive reviews. This weekend, though, was disappointing. Our family went there for Easter Sunday Brunch. Never again the staff couldnt keep up and there was always something empty. The buffet was good but hardly exceptional. They did have prime rib, ham, oysters and shrimp. But the prime rib was far from rare, even in the middle, and they often ran out of shrimp. Plus they didnt have things theyve had in years past (namely an omelette station). They also only had a single coffee station so it was either difficult to get because of people standing there adding cream and sweeteners or the pot was empty. They should have had the coffee on one table and all the cream/etc. on a separate table so those of us that drink it back wouldnt have to wait so long. One guy in front of me actually was making three cups! But the biggest disappointment came with the bill Our server did check in on us occasionally, but nothing exceptional. So, imagine my surprise to see a 20% tip on the bill for a large party. We were three people! And its a buffet! I will still go back to the bar or patio after the driving range or golf, and for a regular meal, but never again for their overpriced ($51.10 per person BEFORE any alcohol, soda, or mandatory tip), unexceptional buffet.

Ty was amazing, he made sure that he took care of us he even suggested Obsidian a red wine that I am now obsessed with! Thank you for a wonderful dinning experience!

Always enjoy our meals here and the service is always great. Tai is the best! Nice environment and pretty views too.
