Calvert Medical Office Building I, II & III

Sadly there is no compassion except the respiratory therapy staff member. The physicians assistant, while listening to my lungs as I was wheezing asked, "do you hear a wheeze?" I said ,"yes" and she said, "well, I don't hear one." There was 1 out 6 medical staff who were kind to me or others. There was urine all over the bathroom floor in the unisex bathroom. I cleaned it up so others don't have to trapse through a sick person's urine. It's sad to me. Its new look is inviting but not so much good care. While I appreciate that this is a tough job, being kind and compassionate is easy.

My husband fell. He was dizzy and could not walk. Rescue squad took him to Calvert. After 6 hours, he was released. They declared no fracture even though he could put NO WEGHT on his leg. Yes, they x-rayed it. MRI at Kaiser showed fractured femur and dislocated patella, which required surgery to repair. I went there because I could not stop bleeding after a tooth extraction. The hospitals dental pack was expired. They sent me home. This place is a joke.

Very good experience here at Calvert Health Hospital. I checked in with my mom for scheduled surgery. My number was called very fast despite a very busy OR on a Wednesday. The elderly lady who took me back seemed a bit grumpy, but she was only one of two negative things about my visit. The pre-op area could do with a serious remodel as it is old and somewhat dirty looking. But those are the only negatives I have. The beds were comfortable, and I was so thankful for the warm blankets they brought in immediately! And I'd like to give a special thanks to Jennifer in Same-Day Surgery. She made getting an IV easier than I expected. She made me feel comforted! Thank you, Jennifer! From check-in to surgery, it went very fast. I was told my surgery would be done earlier than expected and I felt very confident in the care of the OR nurse Evangeline and the anesthesiologist, Dr. Joshua? I hope I remembered his name correctly! The team was full of expertise and kindness, and I am grateful for their wonderful care!

Absolutely would not recommend coming here. My pregnant wife was having respiratory issues and we took her to the ER to be checked. She was made to wait 45 minutes in an empty waiting room without anyone checking vitals or making sure she was okay. She had an asthma attack and needed to leave because the nurse couldnt give her an estimate on when she could be seen other than I dont know. If youre having a medical emergency absolutely do not come here!
