My family and I are relocating to the east coast from Arizona. We contacted them to inquire about renting an apartment, however none of their sales representatives reached back out. I took this as a form of them not wanting my business. I took it else where.
I believe that the front office is the first representation of the company and theyre doing a really bad job.

17 month lease (2021 Camden - 2023 Haven Largo)
Everything is old/dated, basic or standard, but its very simple manageable living. Its quiet. Its peaceful. No vandalism, no car break ins or crime issues. No pests or bug issues at all. Gates are usually always working. Nice neighbors and management.
Keep in mind: Not renovated - Not luxury by any standards - no high end finishes - no microwave included. If your expectations are low. .Youll be very satisfied.
I moved there to downgrade and save money but that didnt really happen.
Unfortunately - Older apartments are normally cheaper in rent than newer luxury buildings but the utility bills/fees make up the difference. Its not an energy efficient community and bills are split amongst the entire building not per unit.
Haven Largo charges utilities based on BUILDING USAGE not per apt unit. So even if you go on vacation for a month youll coming back to hefty bill thanks to your neighbors. Horrible billing structure.
Expected bills- (2bd/1bth) 2 prsn occupancy
Electric - Avg $140-$200/mo
Water/Sewer - $100/mo
Mandatory alarm fee - $25 (didnt use)
Mandatory valet trash -$30 (rarely used)
Mandatory internet/cable fee - $112
Mandatory parking fee - $25 (I paid $75 for reserved) Parking can be scarce and tight.
Mandatory Gas - $30/mo (but no fireplace in my unit or gas appliances not sure why I paid this)
They are now advertising the community as a low income based and welcoming vouchers and such. CAMDEN WOULD NEVER!! I have seen a difference in the tenants/actions/activities in my building. Ill just say I left in perfect time.
So yes, after all the additional fees and new property adjustments you might as well spend your money on a luxury place.
