Katie is extremely intuitive and intentional with her craft. I have super sensitive skin and it always feels so calm and radiant after my facials at KW. The experience is meditative, healing, and unlike any other. Not to mention, the atmosphere in the spa is so beautiful! I appreciate how detail oriented Katie is and she is the only one I trust. I recently moved to Seattle and wait to book my facials when I visit Michigan. I had a facial today with Katie Westgate and it was sublime! As she performed the facial and massage, the word that kept coming to my mind was reverence. The experience felt like a meditation and I left feeling calm and grounded, grateful for the care and respect she bestowed upon me. She has a deep and enlightened knowledge of the skin and she infuses that into every aspect of her services. Her spa is a peaceful oasis amidst the chaos of daily life. Highly recommended! Love the relaxing and tranquil atmosphere! Cute decor, greeting takes a moment as the desk is at the end of the hall! Massage rooms are private, lightly scented, clean, and comfortable. I had a cupping massage combo, which left me feeling amazing and so relaxed! Massage therapist worked wonders on my tight shoulders and trouble areas. Will definitely be back!

Would not recommend K West Spa due to the overall underwhelming experience and unkind interactions with staff members. Cons: pretentious environment, limited scheduling availability, staff turnover, and inability to use gift cards on spa products Pros: cleanliness and location I have had numerous services (laurel facials, Qi beauty treatment, massage, manicures and pedicures) at K West over the past several yearsrevisited the spa with multiple staff members due to its convenient location. Unfortunately, my favorite staff have mostly left. After reading amazing reviews went out of my way to try multiple facials with the owner, but was disappointed by the quality of the services and product recommendations, as well as her suggestion to not wear sunscreen as part of my skincare routine. Facials and nail services by the only other long term staff were mediocre as well.
