KellyThank you for mentioning that we did offer to give you a deal on a new UPGRADED floor once the repairs to your subfloor were made or we would replace what you had purchased at not cost to you. In our defense, the existing parquet was rippling from years of water and pet abuse. I personally said the floor was in rough shape and we didn't know what was the condition of the subfloor at the time of the sale. Your husband volunteered (or your volunteered him) to remove the buckled flooring and make any necessary repairs. You called on a Monday and wanted to move in that weekend. We are not happy until you are, so if you would like to discuss the matter my cell is 517 206.5125 I can be reached anytime. I did leave a message, as soon are your review pinged my phone earlier today. Customer service is not just words here, it is action. As I said before we can and will replace you floor once you fix your subfloor. Waterproof floating floors require a flat, sound surface or they will fail. I apologize if us trying to do right by you on the day of install was not sufficient. Some companies ( Box Stores ) would have NOT laid your floor and left you move in without an entry, dinning room and kitchen floor ( fuzzy on the kitchen detail) . We are not those people. At least you know my reviews are real, no one is prefect.... but this will be made right.But I have a debate question and please give me your feedback on my cell.Should we install a flooring, hoping things work out...trying to stretch peoples budgets. Or, should we guard our reputation and refuse to take the risk...regardless of the position we were putting the customer in?Keep in mind there are children in the home. The floor is uneven and bumpy from the glue left on the subfloor. And, there is a obvious bounce in the floor in areas.Unlike BOX STORES I know my jobs and my customers....even 3 years later. Kelly is absolutely correct. When you spend good hard earned money, you expect a certain level of service, usability and after the sales service. I can't speak for every MOM and POP store owner, but how we respond to reviews like this is why you should always BUY LOCAL.What do you think? If this was you, would you want this problem with a local MOM and POP or a BOX STORE?
