        DO NOT work here if you ever want to use your benefits. They do not take care of their employees or veterans. I am a veteran who worked for Berrien County for multiple years . I took medical leave to get treatment from the VA for PTSD/Depression and requested to use my short term disability that I earned and HR refused to sign the paperwork for short term disability. I am a single mother and could not afford to take unpaid time off work to get help. This is why 22 veterans a day commit suicide. Do better Berrien County.
