Took me, an individual with PTSD, to his office and showed me incredibly disturbing images of other clients teeth in various states of repair, without their permission, as an aggressive manipulation tactic to scare me into having him work on my teeth. If you are a patient of Dr. Jaksa and had pictures of your teeth taken by him, I would seriously ask him if he has shown your photos to anyone. I saw before, in-progress, and after photos and i was sat in front of the computer and was able to see the personal names on every file he clicked on. This is an actual email I just sent to their office. I have contacted the office multiple times and you have not responded. Last time I spoke to a staff member, I was told that I did not have dental insurance for the appointment for which I am being billed outstanding charges. Thats not true, I had dental insurance through HealthPartners. I told this to the staff member, and I was told they would resubmit to insurance and I never heard anything again. I reached out by phone and email, because I wanted to get this taken care of this past October if I remember right. I sent emails through this portal and left vms, and no one responded. Niw it is march of the following year and you are sending me a bill again without responding the billing issues I have. You have just also triggered me again regarding your hostile and aggressive manipulation tactics. You were aware that I have PTSD, and yet you took me to your private office, sat me down in front of your computer and proceeded to show me a number of disturbing images of your other clients teeth in various states of repair, and without knowing for sure, basically told me my teeth were rotting out of my head and you didnt know what you were going to do with me. You even called me at home on a Sunday evening once and asked me what am I going to do with you? I shouldnt have to tell a professional that disclosing random photos of your clients to your other clients is likely to be considered an indiscriminate violation of a patients privacy.

Dr. Jaksa and his team have been treating me for the past 25 years. When I got married and had kids, he treated all of them. I must say that I could not have asked for a better dentist, and I cant imagine trusting anybody else with the teeth of my five kids. Im so grateful for his honesty, integrity, and extraordinary sense of humor!

I started seeing Dr. Jaksa many years ago when I had a chipped tooth. Since then, he has suggested many options that would make my teeth almost perfect. I had braces put on as an older adult, then has my silver cavities removed and replaced with white, then had my teeth all equilibrated so they would be the correct lengths to not hit other teeth and finally whitened them. This process was not cheap, but I knew he had received awards for being one of the top 50 dentists in the US for many years. My teeth are now beautiful and I get so many compliments. Now my husband, who is 63 years old is starting the same process I did. We are so excited to see the end results and I know they will be nothing short of perfect. If you want the best looking teeth, go for it no matter how old you are because it is the best feeling in the world to have a great smile with beautiful teeth. I know there are only a few Dentists out there and in my option, Dr. Jaksa is the best and I would recommend him to any one looking for the very best. Thank you Dr. Jaksa for making my teeth so beautiful and I know my husbands will be amazing when you are done with him. You have been easy to work with and have given us so many options over the years. Your staff has also been amazing. To anyone looking for the best, please call Dr. Jaksa. Always remember, you get what you pay for, and he is the best!

12/5/2023 I've been with Dr. Jaksa for half a decade, and my experience has been nothing less than excellent dental restoration services, I would give 6 if I could! Initially came in for four fractured front teeth, which with such short notice Dr. Jaksa started working on them right away. Using the most up-to-date technology and techniques for full restoration needs. Highly recommend family and friends for emergencies and simple dental cleaning. The fillings are done right without leaving any spot of cavities in the buckle, unlike the other few dental places I've been to. Imaging using the latest x-ray equipment to pinpoint any and all trouble findings. 12.26.23 Front tooth filling fell out on Christmas day! Contacted dental office for any way to get it fixed, Dr. Jaksa responded to come in the following next day. Tooth is fixed thanks to Dr. Jaksa and dedicated team. Can really tell that Jaksa cares about his clients, and the care received at Lake Area Dental is unmatched!

My family and I have been with Dr.Jaksa for over 30 years. He was recommended to us by a hygienist who worked for a different dentist. He takes a holistic approach to dentistry, including breathing, bite, occlusal stability (something I learned from him) and more. Dr. Jaksa worked seamlessly, like a quarterback, with my orthodontist, endodontist, and oral surgeon to correct my bite and eliminate my TMJ (both afflictions ignored by my previous dentist). He also provided, and continues to provide as I get older, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, using only the highest quality materials. Dr. Jaksa always explains my options, is patient with my questions, and works with his staff to check insurance coverage, if I ask, before we move forward with any dental work. "Doc" and his staff are all outstanding professionals and I highly recommend them at Lake Area Dental.
