Freedom house save was the Lord's refuge for me, and it saved my life; so much so that I am still here helping others find the most important person they could ever know, Jesus. I encourage everyone with drug and alcohol problems seek Jesus first and foremost, and to come here for a safe place to do it. You will be loved here.

The Freedom House has provided me with an environment in which to seek the Lord. The teachers, elders and my peers are constantly encouraging me to seek God in everything I do. Im also experiencing what its like to be around like minded believers in Christ.

My experience with this place was not Christian like. Was told my husband could not bring meds with him ( seizure, bp,fluid pills) 2 months later his accountability person let it slip he could have brought that stuff. Was told to bring money for them to freeze if he was to decide he did not want stay well when he decided to leave that's when it seems like it took a cult turn I was not allowed to speak to him nor could I come get him . They said due to him putting in a 24 hour notice he was not allowed to leave or speak to me that the next day if they could work someone schedule around to bring him they would. I offered to come get him was told no I could not. I called the sheriff dept they advised me to call them back tell them I had called and to tell them to let me speak to him. I did that and was refused do I told them I would take Legal action if need be . 30 min later they was calling to tell me they was bringing to our town. They did but kept the the froze money plus he had worked and was told he would get paid for that work .
