I needed to fill a raised garden bed with soil. Looked online, found what I needed for $8.99 per 1.5 cubic foot bag. I drove to the store and when I arrived I saw they had the same product marked at $12.99 instead of the $8.99 advertised on their website. I asked an employee whether they would honor the advertised price; he said I need to ask the manager. I asked the manager on duty, who then said she would have to ask her manager and that I would have to come back tomorrow when that manager is working. I needed a few other things so I shopped, then at the checkout the manager and I began talking again, I showed her on my phone that this was the price advertised for their store on the website and she finally decided she would honor the online price. I said oh thats great I need 22 bags. Then the manager told me she couldnt sell me that many bags at that price. I swear Ive never seen staff trying so hard to not take my $200 for some dirt. Ended up driving to Aurora and found the same product elsewhere for less than the $8.99 that was advertised. You lost my $200 today and my future business in perpetuity.
