We will absolutely be back again. What a romantic, luxurious experience. Isabel provided lavish accommodations, and made sure every last detail was perfect for our special event. The Romeo & Juliet suite was spacious, luxurious. The common areas were also luxurious, spacious, and inviting. She gave us a tour of the gorgeous home, and the other rooms look amazing for future stays. Breakfast was a gourmet delight. She helped us find great locations to visit in St. Joseph: museums, restaurants, and so forth. Whatever we needed, she was there to help us enjoy ourselves and have a 5-star experience. Thank you!

Wow! What an amazing experience! Every inch of this home is beautiful, peaceful, historic and Isobel is amazing host. Everything about the Shakespeare will bring you back again, I know we are already planning our next stay. Beautiful rooms, freedom to come and go, and the homemade breakfast was an amazing finish to our stay.

Absolutely amazing stay. Isobel was very welcoming, explained everything wonderfully, and was able to accommodate a nut allergy. We stayed in the Twelfth Night Suite and while I was initially disappointed that there was no tub (I didn't book the room) - I was PLEASANTLY surprised by how delightful the extra shower jets were. The bed was also EXTREMELY comfortable - we slept like babies. Breakfast was amazing. Overall super delighted and will defiantly be back - maybe next time in the Romeo & Juliet suite! Rooms: Comfortable and romantic! If it were available we would have stayed in the Romeo and Juliet Suite which looked extraordinarily luxurious - but the Twelfth Night Suite was very lovely and we slept GREAT! Nearby activities: We went to The Pony Express Museum but there are also a lot of other amazing museums nearby. The St. Joseph Public Library is a must-see, along with nearby architecture. Very close to the Inn there is a pizza place - Geneo's Pizza and Pub that was amazing to bring back with us - we ate in the room and watched Christmas at the Chateau (which was filmed at this Inn).
