We went in to look at tennis shoes and the lady in the Kalispell REI shoe department was wonderful to work with. She was very knowledgeable and helpful and I appreciated her effort and enthusiasm.

Lame store. Horrible stock and options. Staff lacks initiative to sell and be helpful

Very friendly staff. I think I worked with Rose today. I was pleasantly surprised by their helpfulness and attitude. I appreciate a nice local shop that provides bike repairs.

01/24: same 10/23: same 2020: Been an REI member since 1977, great outfit. And the product line had sure expanded over the years. Kalispell store seems like nice folks. This store is excellent at enforcing the mask mandate and protecting customers health. They are to be commended.

When I entered the building I was immediately greeted by an employee who eagerly and expertly directed me towards the bathroom. Upon opening the door to the restroom, I was hit with a pleasant smell that reminded me of my childhood. The lighting was soft, and the walls were a melow shade of off-white. As I sat myself down on the single stall, I saw the door had a lock on it allowing for maximum privacy. Very accommodating. The seat was firm but not uncomfortable, and gentle jazz music played in the background making the "experience" much more enjoyable. After relieving myself I looked for the toilet paper dispenser, only to find a small metal container fixed to wall holding something I would compare to sandpaper. I was displeased with the wiping experience and was more than afraid my finger would break through the "paper". Upon completing my bowel movement, I made my way to the sink. It was set up in a very visually pleasing arrangement. However, the sensor on the faucet must need calibration because it struggled to detect my hands. When I went to grab a paper towel I discovered they only had an air dryer. I would prefer to have both options, but I guess you can't have everything. Overall, A very nice experience. 9/10, would poop here again.
