        Attempted to reserve a room for a single night via phone. Room was $55 for the night. Taxes and FEES brought the total cost to $86. Taxes at a different hotel was about 10% leaving $25 per night added for unknown fees. Canceled the reservation.

        Do not believe the rating on hotels or Expedia. You get what you pay for. Its an older place, the bathroom had black mildew on the shower wall, there was some kind of funk on the corner wall next to the tub, the entire motel had a smell to it that wasnt very appealing. The bed sheets had a stain on it and hair, and I hadnt even sat down in the bed, plus the unknown stain on the rug. When I addressed housekeeping about it, the woman got offensive about it. The front desk staff were excellent and pleasant to deal with. Marley was awesome! I do not recommend this place.

      Reviews from Hotels or Expedia are some of the most reliable as they are from verified guests. Unlike Google, where you can leave a review for anyone. Regardless, it sounds like you did not have a great stay with us and I apologize for that. When staying in hotels, please let the front desk know when you are not satisfied to give them the opportunity to correct the problem during your stay. We could have offered you an upgraded newer style room. Again, I am really sorry for your experience and we really hope you will give us another chance in the future to change your mind.
