        The Boathouse was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! Due to COVID, we had to cancel our original reception venue. We had booked The Boathouse earlier that week for bridal party events and asked Dusty if we could extend that stay for our wedding reception. He was accommodating and flexible in letting us come checkout the space prior and letting that happen. The location was beautiful and the deck having shade was perfect so that we could host some tables outdoors. Having the lake to ourselves to be on and lookout on made for a very romantic vibe. We did have to do quite a bit of cleaning ourselves to prepare for our event such as getting a stain out of the carpet, cleaning the windows, cleaning cob webs/bugs, etc. It would also be nice if the space had a bedroom. Despite those inconveniences, I would still recommend this space due to the location, flexibility, and overall what it has to offer.
