The Best Caulking And Restoration of Omaha

Jake, the owner of this business forgot about our first appointment meeting. I was willing to forgive that as we all have memory lapses from time to time. Turns out that should have been my first red flag. The second was when he gave me an estimate at our first meeting and then he called back and said he made a mistake and gave me another estimate almost $500 more than the first quote. The next time we talked it was another $200 more. But his estimate was middle of the road as I had gotten cheaper ones and more expensive ones so I went with them. It took Jake 3 days for what should have been a one day job. The first day, he just removed the wooden walkway to make way for the concrete to be poured. The second day, he ran out of concrete before he was a third of the way done and it was only an inch and a half to 2 inches deep. Standard is 3-4 inches deep as I understand it. Its also 2 different colors from the two different days work and its not level. He insists it is, but Ill need to wait for rain to see if the water pools in the middle of the walkway. He also dumped a pile of dirt onto the landscaping rocks and was just going to rinse it down into the rocks. I put my foot down on that and insisted that he remove the dirt as it would be easy for weeds to take root in the dirt (there was fabric under the rocks to stop that.) He was also careless in removing the wooden walkway as he broke a panel off the door of my wooden fence. He said he would fix it but hasnt yet and wont return my texts or phone calls. While he was cheaper than many I got estimates from, I would have gladly paid more for a job done properly and did no damage to my property. I definitely would not recommend The Best Caulking and Restoration of Omaha for any kind of work. They are neither professional nor reliable.

I recently had The Best Caulking and Restoration of Omaha do caulking work around my foundation. Jake was awesome to work with, he was quick to respond and provided great customer service. They were able to come out right away (on a holiday weekend) to complete the work at my house. The job was reasonably priced and well done. I would recommend this company and will be calling Jake again for future projects.

Working with Jake was a great experience. After being ghosted by a couple other contractors, it was incredibly refreshing to find someone as responsive, communicative, and reliable as Jake. His rates are more than fair and he goes above and beyond when it comes to doing a job right. Highly recommended and will definitely work with him again.
