Universal Windows Direct Sioux City

Great patio door and warranty, very poor communication. I ordered the door during the summer of 2023 with a signed purchase agreement from sales rep. The sales rep then quit without telling another colleague (apparently), existing colleagues failed to assume his orders, and the door was not ordered (as winter approaches with my family of 5). After 10 weeks we became concerned and followed up. My wife and I were told sorry, this order mustve slipped through the cracks. Isnt there a protocol for turnover? Delivery and install occurred about 5 weeks later, which I was told was a benefit because they expedited it for me. Although Im grateful for the expedited order, this was not a benefit. This was an additional 5-week wait. Great install, window is great. I was a little irritated that the installers unscrewed my deck anchor for my grill and re-attached it wrong later, but that is a small issueoverall they did great. The bill I was given had a due by date, which I planned to pay on time. You would think after I waited 15 weeks that they would have patience to match, but I got a call asking where their money is and I said I hadnt mailed it yet because the due date on the invoice was still well into the future. I was told that the due date was wrong and they need prompt payment immediately after install how would a customer know this? Again, poor communication. For a $6,500 patio door, I really expected better service than what I got. I mailed the check 4 days prior to the due date on invoice. I included these same comments. It is possible that I was just unlucky, but it seems to me, based on my experience, the company does not have good internal communication. No concessions were made to me, just a simple sorry, an additional 5-week wait, and pressure to pay prior to invoice due date.

We were in the process of starting a Kitchen and Bathroom remodel. One of our first steps was replacement of some very outdated windows in a cement block wall and replacement of a large picture window that was a replacement window about 20years ago. We entertained several other window representatives, although all had their good points, we were not quite sold. One evening After one of the other salesman had completed his sale pitch, we decided to drive over to a small ice cream shop about 7 miles away! While waiting for our order, a Universal Windows Direct installer stopped for a treat after work. We noticed the job trailer and asked for a business card. A simple phone call and one of the nicest sales representatives I have ever met came to show me a product line that spoke for itself. Jonathan was very knowledgeable about his products and was able to answer my questions to my satisfaction. Jonathons product line and competitive price along with respectful attitudes from Jon and the installer, who had just finished a long days work , made up our minds. The lead time was less than other suppliers and installation was timely and they did a great job. To say the difference was night and day just doesnt seem to be a great enough comparison. Installation was perfect and sound and temperature control is fantastic! Thanks again Universal Windows Direct. We are looking to replace other windows and you are at the top of our list!

They are ridiculous!!! I don't believe people would actually be happy with this company unless they like to be scammed! I had a 22yr old come out to give me a price on a window. I'm not into sales speels. He then bashed another company (which he said one of his relatives owns). This isnt cool. He wants to charge 3x's more then what the average cost is for this particular window. NO THANKS, plus I'm not waiting until March!

Amazing customer service, fast/efficient installation, and great windows. I loved working with Jon! He made it a very smooth and easy process and got us a great price. Everyone who comes to my house compliments the new windows. Couldn't be happier!
