I've never written a negative review before this, but If I could give 0 stars I would. I own a small business and employed genesis accounting solutions for over a year, during which each month they nicely collected accounting and booking keeping fees. At the end of the year, when I wanted to see everything they did, it was completely and utterly wrong. Example 1) They expensed the entire cost of a loan. It is of the most basic accounting principle that only interest is deductible ( I have email proof and confirmation of all of this, so they have no right to deny any of this. 2) They expensed what I owed for my Federal tax. This is perhaps even more unbelievable. You are not allowed to expense what you owe to the government as an expense, the most basic of principal, especially when on the statement it says TAX Federal Government DUH 3) They miscategroized hundreds of wrong expenses from travel to office supplies, from cogs to shipping etc. The most absurd is that they that wrongly stated I sent money to a charity for $7k, when I never did. Had they just took one second to click on the transaction, it is clearly written that this was an inventory purchase. 4) Between 1 week my net profit according to them went from -$70,000 to +$100,000 to $+400,000. They are incapable of knowing the most basic of accounting principals. DO NOT USE THEM
