        These candles are mediocre- great scents but the wood wick is nothing but a hassle to light up. I have to keep trying to light it after trimming it only to get a low flame. Ive had much better quality candles than these.

        Purchased several candles today at the Derry Farmers Market downtown. Ive been wanting to check these candles out for some time now. I really love most of the scents they have available. My favorite so far is the eucalyptus and spearmint. I have had it burning for several hours now and it smells wonderful and burns very evenly. They were very friendly and I was given a complimentary room spray that smells so good. Thank you for a pleasant experience Ill definitely look forward to my next scent load up soon

      Hi Tara, I am sorry to hear you’re having trouble lighting your wood wick candle. Trimming your wick too short, will cause that to happen. Once a candle has been properly sized for the vessel and oil being used, the only thing consumer has to do is keep the wick just under 11/4”. If the wick is too tall, the flame will be too tall. If the wick is too short, the flame will be too short, even making the candle difficult to light or stay lit. To correct a wick that has been trimmed to short, simply take out a very small amount of wax until your wick is then situated approximately 1/4 inch above the wax. Once you’re using your candle snap off the burnt piece only that is above 1/4 inch tall. .20 inches tall is the perfect height.
