Signature Landscapes Designed by Dube's LLC

If youre considering a project with this company be warned, while the design may be pretty and you may be initially satisfied with your investment they do not stand behind their work. This picture is part of my retaining wall built by Signature (formerly Dubes) with the work overseen by now owner Marc Fortier. Marc does not return calls or emails despite numerous attempts to secure a contract to repair this wall that numerous other contractors have indicated fell because it was improperly constructed. How a company handles its missteps is a huge indicator of its integrity. Ignoring and pushing a former customer to the wayside says volumes. Beware.

In response to Mr. Fortiers reply to my previous post - you did not make every reasonable attempt to work with me, that is my complaint. You ignored emails, you dodged phone calls, and would not provide a contract for the work which, to be clear, you were not providing free of charge, for anyone who may have misunderstood your response. That kind of behavior is unprofessional and puts doubt in the mind of a consumer as to how reliable you would be as a service provider. Additionally, when you purchase a business you take on their assets and their liabilities, you dont get to pick and choose. Just because you changed the name of the company doesnt make you any less responsible for the work it did.

WORST renovation project we've ever experienced. Signature Landscapes Designed by Dube's did our backyard patio renovation this past spring/summer/fall of 2022. Mr. Dube was quick to sell to us in the beginning, then impossible to contact after that. We were told it'd take a few weeks to do the project; it took 6 months and countless hours of our own time designing, planning, project-managing, and chasing down answers. I had to give the contractors a to-scale blueprint of what we wanted because the 'designer', Dube, only did a rough estimate for us back in Nov. 2019. He came to our property exactly 2 times in the year we were in contact. Once to do our estimate, the second at the beginning of the project. We never heard from him again. Even the receptionist couldn't get answers from him. In addition to communication issues, management was a major issue. Contractors were constantly pulled from our project to do other ones. They left our project for 2 1/2 weeks right in the middle of the summer to go finish other jobs. The lone star is for our lead contractor, Kevin, who was the only one who made any effort to complete our project. He was responsive, thorough, and thoughtful. His work was excellent, but to put an entire backyard patio project on 2 people was unfair. This company is unprofessional, untrustworthy, disinterested in making your project a success.
