If you insist on doing business with Prodigy, avoid giving them any money upfront, and refuse to give them any until you see progress. Gave a required deposit for some rust repair and a repaint, and was given a pretty firm timeline with the job scheduled 1.5 months in advance. Dropped the car off as scheduled with a planned one-month turnaround, and it sat outside untouched for almost two months, except for occasionally being "moved", I'd use a spare key to get in and reset the tripometer, and I suspect (but can't fully prove) that they were taking it for joyrides or errands occasionally. When I suggested refunding my deposit so I could go elsewhere, it was brought inside and disassembled just enough to keep me from taking it, and then continued to sit. Endless excuses, requests for more cash, outright lies about any actual progress. Ended up with my car back four months later with loose bolts everywhere, orange-peel and thin paint coverage that chipped if you even looked at it wrong. Overspray all over the inside of the windows and interior trim. Brought it back to them (stupidly) for a suggested "final buff" a couple weeks later which scratched the hell out of the paint, and finished off by slamming the hood on the prop-rod, bending it and screwing up the hood's alignment. Took something I was very excited about (and spent a ton of money on), and made it as difficult and frustrating as possible. Services: Painting, Body & Trim
