Banfield Pet Hospital

They did out Great Danes spay and gastropexy in 2019. They butchered her open, left about 40 staples, and the incision became infected. Fast forward to June of 2023 and she had a stump pyometra. For those of you that dont know what this is like we didnt, they left part of her uterus in which was now infected. Emergency surgery was going to be 9500-11,500 to maybe fix the issue. We just put her down last week after enjoying as much time as we can. Do NOT bring your dogs to Banfield. They helped kill our dog and robbed years off her life.

After this place was temporarily closed, there were no proper notifications that they have removed it permanently. None of the Banfield team reached out to us saying your file is being transferred to other location or atleast letting us know to transfer our pet to a new Vet. So disappointed. My cat had an emergency and I reached out to two different banfield locations and none of them responded that they would take him in for check up.

I've been a Banfield member for 13 years and boy have they gone downhill big time. I will be canceling my plans for my 3 pups. I've had so many bad experiences - for example I got an email confirming my appt at the North Nashua location and when I showed up for that appt there was a sign posted saying they are closed. I now have to drive all the way to North Chelmsford - the staff there is nice but not the drive. Mercy here in Merrimack, which is now a Banfield, is a joke to even try to get an appt and I found some of the staff and Dr's rude.
