Essex County Veterans Courthouse

I came here for jury duty. Even after I was dismissed by one judge due to work reasons, they made me stay. I believe they need a better system. If someone is dismissed from a jury due to bias or reasons that have nothing to do with them being able to sit in, then they should stay and see other judges to see if they are better suited. However, if its due to work/health once they are dismissed they should be able to go home. This is super inconsiderate to peoples time. When I asked the ladies in the front to help me understand their response was well thats what our boss wants. I would also like to disclose I saw many people who were seen by other judges dismissed and allowed to leave only having seen 1 judge.

I had a great experience with Sabrina Peterson from the 9th floor! On the call she was very patient, knowledgeable, and was very helpful with everything I asked regarding getting a certified copy of my record. She is honestly amazing and I appreciate her!

The finance division manager, assistant division manager as well as the supervisor for child support and probation are the WORST... SMH
