I was able to receive a proper diagnosis though this company back in about 2020-2021. Due to unfortunate events I was not able to see them anymore. I was able to reach back out for help I believe in 4/09/24. They helped get an appointment/assessment me without hesitation that same week. Libby was my therapist before and has been the best help through the times I have been with her as a therapist. I was grateful to find that she was able to take me back as a patient and to be able to be back with her is the biggest blessing I could have asked for and I cried tears of joy and relief the very first session. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who needs assistance. Best help I have had with any practice. If you're not sure, take this review and run with it. You won't regret it. They take the steps to make sure you as the patient, are taken care of. Thank everyone that has helped me at H&S especially Libby they have helped me worked toward stability. I am truly grateful.

I am employed at Heart & Soul and I want to thank the team for helping the community. I'm the outreach coordinator and I speak to the community and colleagues who refer clients to us. They have nothing but great things to say about the team. Very proud :)

This will be my 8th year of working for Heart and Soul of NM. When I started, there were just 3 therapists, including Brandy who is one of the owners. We have grown so much as an agency that provides so many needed services across the state. We now have at least 30 staff and providers in various roles which is amazing!! Working for Heart and Soul has changed my life and offered me the opportunity to help others change theirs too. I am so proud to work here and be a part of a team that clearly cares about helping others. I will NEVER work anywhere else as Heart and Soul is my happy place!

Everyone at Heart and Soul is so kind. Offering a variety of support from therapy, medication management, to caseworkers creating plans for individualized needs. Navigating their online system, required to become a patient, is simple and easy. As someone who has had to go through rigorous hoops of phone calls and multiple emails back and forth, likely to get lost, just to fill out paperwork in the past. I appreciate how everything is located in one platform; no one enjoys filling out paperwork but this is a great system. The office administrator, Maya, is kind and very clearly dedicated to ensuring everything is completed for appointments. Not only does she happily schedule your assessments and appointments but sends reminder texts! Definitely need those reminders, thank you Maya!

You know it's bad when half of the "good reviews" on here are from their own corrupt therapists intentionally causing damage to people's lives then bragging about how good they are, the mother of the director of the program, and other friends or family who were told to help boost the ratings : / For almost 2 years I had been happy here. I truly thought they were different. I gave them a huge chance, invested my whole self, and developed trust that I never had for anyone else in my whole life with the therapist I was seeing. I am a cptsd patient and have severe complex trauma among other things. I was doing emdr therapy with this therapist. That therapist shattered all of it in one moment by texting me that they were cancelling my critically needed appointment so that they could simply go have fun with a friend. They didnt even care to ask if that was ok with me, didnt offer to reschedule, nothing. When I confronted the therapist about being upset about it, they did not care either. This compromised everything between us and has deeply impacted me in the worst way. I warn everyone now: do NOT allow them to provide service to you, you WILL regret it in the long run. You will be compromised and be put in such a terrible position because of their carelessness when it does finally decide to show it's ugly face when you least expect it and need them more than ever. This place destroys lives permanently. *Edited in response to the owner's response that was put up a few months after this initial review* There was a response from the owner and then it disappeared, I'm sure they'll put it back up at some point. It stated something along the lines of how they were grateful for the feedback so that they could understand how efficiently and effectively their business is, they were sorry if their policies couldn't meet the needs of every client, and to email some b.s. advocate person to share more of the experience. I counter that they should be responding to a negative review in a timely manner, which the owner did not. The owner never reached out directly to me at all regarding the issue nor was there any care to address the unlawful misconduct their contracted therapist committed. I will counter respond to the snide remark in justification of the horrific behavior that their policies can't meet the needs of every patient. I was unaware that it was policy for their therapists or any therapist to commit misconduct upon their patients in the form of canceling sessions on their patients at the last minute and the reason being justified with them going to screw off and have fun with their friends. I'd love to see that alleged policy from the owner, and would love to see that policy being upheld for their therapists given this agency has a WRITTEN zero tolerance policy for their patients cancelling on session at the last minute. This response that was suddenly issued by the owner just goes to show the carelessness and recklessness that has been talked about by multiple people over and over again over the last year about this agency. And it drives me to go further than just Google with this issue because I think it's an issue that is unlawful and absolutely shouldn't be happening in therapy anywhere. These people have an oath to do no harm and them coming back and issuing responses in this manner shows me the pure unethical practice that is being justified by owners of mental health businesses. I will end with the rest of the response that at some point was below my review, that I have no interest in providing my experience to some strange, newly appointed alleged advocate for the agency months after the issue happened. I will get in touch with the right people about it, and I'm absolutely appalled that the owner would come back and issue that kind of a response, along with being severely untimely. I hope that this edit serves to be further purposeful for people who read and see the reviews and the responses and behaviors of the owner.
