        We decided to visit Taos for the day, for our anniversary, and this seemed to be the best hotel based on choices. As a Hilton Honors Gold member, I was happy to get an upgrade. The rooms are decent and large, with a remodeled bathroom, which was nice but dirty on arrival. The location is good, with a quick 5-minute drive to the plaza. The negative, the front desk lady who greeted us on March 25th was beyond rude. She didn't acknowledge us or my honors membership, seemed annoyed to answer your questions, and we complained our couch had stains and the floor had food on it which was vacuumed later. We saw her the next day and she had the same attitude. We were glad to be checking out that day. Taos doesn't have many options, and if this hotel focuses on being at a level of a standard Hilton, with clean rooms, clean furniture, and a warm receptionist, it has potential. Probbly won't be back!

        This hotel is nice and has a great pool. The bar was decent. There is no complimentary breakfast and the restaurant was going through a new menu and was not available yet. Rooms: Rooms are nice but average. Rm 504 shower was lacking pressure and the ceiling paint was peeling.
