I came to this Verizon Wireless store location earlier this afternoon with intent to switch my service provider over to Verizon from T-Mobile. When I walked in the store, all of the employees, including the manager on duty at the time, seemed to be towards the back of the store assisting other customers. Every single employee looked over at me as I entered the store, as they heard me walk through the door. However, not one person dared to provide any customer service or attention. The manager, alongside the sales representatives, all continued providing service to customers who were seated at the back of the store. I stuck around, played around on the display tablets, looked at the products hanging on the shelves, hoping that someone would finally address me or provide minimal customer service. Unfortunately, after 15 minutes, not one person acknowledged me or asked how I could be helped. Not one person looked over and said that they would be able to assist me in a few moments. I ended up leaving the store, never having the opportunity to speak to any employee or get any information about switching my service over to Verizon. I would hope that this location is not an accurate representation of Verizon as a company, because as a potential customer looking to give Verizon my business, I am very turned off and disgusted with the level of customer service that I received at their Gateway Mall location in Brooklyn. Time is not free and I would advise other customers to try any other store than this one. Staff will blatantly ignore you as if you are not there, management included. Save your time and energy.
