        THE best matcha I've ever tried on the upper west side! Visited this coffee shop when I was having a gloomy day, but the kindness and friendliness of the barista Kevin was like a ray of light. The combination of flowers and cafe is a wonderful addition to the atmosphere of the neighbourhood. Highly recommend

        I have reported this restaurant to the Department of Health. It instructs paying customers of its coffee stand to "sneak into a restaurant across the street" to use the restroom and absolutely will not allow customers to use the restroom in the shop. How can it sell coffee and have chairs and tables for customers to sit at, and then absolutely refuse to let customers use its bathroom? Because it has more than 20 seat - 14 outside alone - this is not legal in New York, in addition to being mean-spirited. I hope that the Department of Health enforces the legal requirement for this establishment to offer a bathroom to its customers. As for this reply: Why don't you just let customers use Flowers on the Park's bathroom? Like every other business around? It's right there at the back of the store. If you're serving beverages, you should allow YOUR CUSTOMERS to use YOUR BATHROOM.

      We first want to apologize for your poor experience. There is a sign at the entrance to café with a sign noting we do not have a public restroom. We are aware of the NYC laws and keep chairs to 19 at all time, to ensure we are in line with the NYCDOH’s policy. We have great relationships with the neighboring businesses we wouldn’t risk by sending customers to their restrooms. We deeply apologize you were directed elsewhere.
