Really a beautiful place. They have a playground, walking path, even a little bit into the woods, baseball fields and basketball courts as well. Park is very well maintained. Also have a dog park and ice skating in the winter. There is a book exchange and anything else you could possibly want in a family park. Good for parties, picnics lunch. Anything you can dream of

It's such a Great place to have a Family Reunion, play date, walking your dog, jogging, speed walking, riding a bicycle , practicing for your drivers license and or your motorcycle license. Picking up a book at the little free library. ( bring a book and exchange it for another. There iis a great playground area, baseball field and ice skating rink when the weather turns cold. Oh yes, let not forget the Senior Center is there also "Slate Hill Pacers" are a very active social network. I swear they are always on the go. Playground: Wawayanda is always adding more and more to the children's areas. Restrooms: Always clean and well stocked. Dog-friendliness: There is a fenced in area if you want to let your pet run around without a leash, or the dogs are allowed anywhere on a leash and provided you clean up after them. Picnic area: Multiple areas with pavilions, benches, picnic tables and Shade trees for a picnic basket brunch on a blanket with your loved ones
