VCA Parkway Animal Hospital

I have always had a wonderful experience at this practice. Theyre easy to communicate with and their app makes it very convenient to do this (Im a true millennial, I hate talking on the phone so text is preferred) The last couple of weeks, I have had to stop by a few times for different medications for my dog. Kali was extremely helpful in getting these medications but also setting me up on autoship so I dont have to worry about running out. She was also able to save me quite a bit of money by doing this which was extremely helpful! I highly recommend this vet practice for all your animal needs!

This is a review not of a service, but of customer service from Rachel. I called to get an estimate for my dog to be neutered, and when I asked which of the treatment plan items were not necessary, she said "none" in a strange tone, I said, "I didn't finish what I was asking", and she said have a great day and hung up...what?? I called back asking for the manger, which she said she WAS the manager (big yikes) and it was in this second conversation with her that I found out that not all items on the treatment plan were indeed necessary (i.e a microchip because my dog already has one), along with a few other items. I thought it was very bizarre that Rachel was so dismissive and flippant right off the bat when we were having a pleasant conversation. Weird. Given this was a shocking first impression with something as intimate as a surgery, makes me wonder about the care for the dogs at this establishment. Crossing this place off my list :/
