My daughter has been going here for over 6 months and we have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the teachers.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the infant care provided at Cadence Academy at McKee. The staff have been caring, attentive and loving towards our child. Even the directors know him by name and care for him. After just a few months, I feel like they know him as well as I do and they care for him that way too. The app they use is great and they post pictures throughout the day. We get lots of information about how hes eating and diapers too! Highly recommend this daycare!

We love Cadence Academy Mckee. The staff is incredible, and they take every step to ensure our daughter is well taken care of during the day. We appreciate the daily updates and stories when we pick her up each day, and it shows that they look at each child as an individual and not just a number. We are so impressed that the teachers we have not even met know our daughter by name but also us when we drop her off and pick her up; this makes us feel sure that she is safe and in good hands. Our daughter has learned so much since joining the daycare, and we can tell each day is filled with love and fun. The new director is amazing and has really turned this place around

My children attended this school for about 6 months. Initially it was pretty good from what I had observed but about 2 months in, my children really started to dislike going to school and would cling to me and cry at drop off. My children are not shy and are always confident wherever they go, so this was a telling sign. Also they began to come home in their spare clothes every single day due to accidents. Not to mention how they would come home looking like theyd been in a war. Often times their hair bows would be missing or replaced and this suddenly be put back on days later. My children are fully potty trained and rarely had accidents at home or any other location so this was also strange to me. The teachers in the prek classroom, claimed the children were wetting themselves at nap time out of defiance which I also found strange because theyve never done that at home either. This would be extremely preventable if they guide the children to use the bathroom prior to nap time. A couple more months go by and I observe one of their teachers, Ms. Tenzin, dismissing and rolling her eyes at one of my kids right before I came in the classroom for pickup. I never complained about this but it told me all I needed to know. I just relocated and my children are in a new school and the difference in their behaviors and temperance is like night and day. They are happy to join their class and now speak of their teachers highly. Im not sure if the Pre K classroom is short staffed or what, but there are a couple questionable teachers. I understand stress levels can be high and I empathize with the staff, but if its not tolerable then maybe a new job should be considered.
