The Barclay at SouthPark

Ive now been at The Barclay for a year and I am very happy with my choice. In every way The Barclay has met or exceeded my expectations. What attracted me initially was Blake & the beautiful entryway & its warm inviting fireplace. Every person I met the day I toured the Barclay was smiling & welcoming. It has been that way right up to this day. When I arrived I had an ambassador who invited me to dinners & other activities to meet people. It really helped me navigate those challanging first days. The maintenance dept. has been exceptionally responsive anytime Ive needed help. When a door didnt close it was addressed & fixed immediately. Same with a water issue & a washing machine. With IT problems, they too are addressed & resolved promptly. The food is great & I was invited to sit in on the food & beverage committee which was so enlightening! It was also an opportunity to meet others with an interest in food & share ideas Pat W. The Barclay is truly interested in the well being of its residents which makes it a wonderful place to live. We were so fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for my wife's parents to begin the next chapter of their lives. Every single aspect of our process with the Barclay has been awesome! From our initial meetings with Blake Leggat, to our move with Schuyler, to now daily living all staff members are friendly and helpful. The building and its amenities are new, clean, and so pretty. We love the Barclay!!!

everyone is so pleasant. it is obvious they are having a happy experience. I'm describing the residents as well as the staff. I have only been here a month, but it has been so welcoming that ni call it "home "

Trying to find a new home for your aging parents is never easy. Trying to find the perfect spot is almost impossible. Our family found both at The Barclay. Blake was so patient, kind and helpful in our search. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were educated and saw every common space and apartment until we were comfortable with our choice! She knew it was so important to us to find a place that not only met our Parents physical needs, but also allowed them to be in a caring and happy environment! The Barclay is the perfect combination of spaces. The facilities are as bright and welcoming as the people who live and work there. There is something for everyone!

I am a lucky daughter who has a lucky parent at The Barclay. The main reason I love it is because my Dad loves it so much! From day one, our family has been impressed with the quality and friendliness of the staff-- a special shout-out to Lacy, who made touring and moving-in seamless, and Chris, who remembers all the things my Dad likes to eat or drink and always makes us smile! Alisha at the bar serves up the best cocktails and is so kind. The Barclay is fun, lively, and makes every effort to care for my Dad the way we do. One day my Dad didn't feel well and hadn't eaten all day. I texted the office while I was on the phone with him that I was concerned, and within minutes, I heard someone knocking on the door. My dad said, "Hold on, someone's here," and then opened his door to see Sky bringing him a bowl of homemade chicken and rice! Again, thank you Sky! The personal service at The Barclay is more than we could have imagined. And as for the decor--it's gorgeous! I am an interior designer and can say that the building, lobby, restaurants, common spaces, and apartments are top notch with high quality materials used throughout. There are tall ceilings, deep crown moldings, beautiful hardwood floors, and high-end fabrics, furniture and appliances around each new corner. I feel like I'm in a 5-star hotel when I visit. Thank you everyone who takes such great care of my Dad. He and our family couldn't be happier with The Barclay!!
