TLDR; Thomas is the best realtor that you will find in the Triangle, and I recommend him very highly. My husband and I worked with Thomas for just under a year and a half. As first time homebuyers, Thomas coached us through the entire process and was genuinely concerned about teaching us what to look for in a home - from an aesthetic, maintenance and investment perspective. Thomas is a wealth of information when it comes to the market and not only that, he could point out houses with red flags easily. His background as a general contractor was helpful for every house that we visited together. Once we were under contact, Thomas and his assistant, Ashley, were extremely organized and timely which made the closing process easy. Did I mention that Thomas is a master negotiator? He helped us negotiate a fair closing price and was a strong advocate for us during the process. The worst part about buying a house with Thomas is that there comes a time when you will no longer spend your Saturday mornings visiting houses together, sharing coffee and hearing his latest dog updates. Thomas is a better agent than we could have hoped for. As first-time buyers, there was a lot we didn't know. Fortunately, not only is Thomas an extremely knowledgeable agent who knows the area, the market, and all the ins and outs of buying and selling real estate; he also has a wealth of experience as a contractor. That means he knows everything there is to know about houses, period. How theyre built, maintained, renovatedyou name it. Every viewing was a lesson: from why you shouldnt buy most flips to how flashing should be installed to properly shed water. But most importantly, which sorts of issues were minor/cosmetic or you could easily fix/change yourself, and which were true red flags that might mean youd be getting more than you bargained for. Simply put, working with Thomas has spoiled me. Im unlikely to find a professional this good at their job in any industry ever again. Hes honestly astounding! Oh, and I suppose I should add he did, of course, help us find the house of our dreams. Thank you again, Thomas!
