We are all entitled to our own opinion, right? Well here is mines:Parking: 5Location: 4Ambiance & Décor: 4Customer Service: 5Strayer is on to something big! Being able to provide working adults options for school scheduled after working hours is amazing of them. My little sister is a student at this location and she absolutely loves the experience. She is on the fast track to obtaining her associates degree within the next year. She works a full 8 hour shift Monday-Friday and she attends Strayer's classes on certain days of the week after her work shift. I visited the campus with her to attend an event last week and I was impressed. We were assisted by a young lady named Melinda Upchurch. She was super kind and helpful. She assisted my sister with a few suggestions to help further her along her graduate goals at Strayer. Melinda was well versed in the classes offered at Strayer. She also did a great job asking clarifying questions which helped my sister come to a decision as to what program and classes she wanted to take. The campus is located in a busy section of Raleigh/Garner. There was a grand parking lot outside of the school. It also sits right behind Golden Corral so lunch should be good everyday!

Be aware!!!! Be very aware!!!! After serving 10 years in the USMC I set my sites on earning a degree. What I thought was just a limited experience when stopping by Strayer University at the Garner Campus in Raleigh NC to check out the school because a good friend of mine was working towards his MBA at Strayer. The staff was very welcoming and seemed very professional. I took the tour of the school and thought that Strayer would be a great place for me to obtain my education. After enrolling I recieved a call from the Garner Campus Dean informing me that I would not be able to use my veterans GI Bill to pay for school because there was a issue with my account. I wasn't going to pay for school out of my pocket so I informed the dean that I would not be able to attend Strayer University in Garner NC. Fast Forward 2.5 degree's later I'm being contacted by a collections depart informing me that I owe the Federal Government money for a class I never completed at Strayer University. I never once stepped foot in a class at Strayer in Garner nor did I attend any online courses there. I think that its awful that a "FOR PROFIT" school would be so unorganized to mishandle student records (I'm hoping that my records were mishandled on accident and not that the school is receiving funds for students who are not in attendance) to the point where students or non-students are being left to pay the bill for funds they never received. Im in my second semester of Grad school and I'm now hearing that I owe money from a course that I never took back in 2009. I'm not writing this review to get even but I want those who are considering Strayer University for your educational needs to be careful when applying. Double check your paperwork and continue to check your Federal Government Financial Aid information every chance you get.
