Avis Car Rental

The return drop off staff at Columbus Ohio Airport(CMH) location. Have absolutely no customer service skills. They are rude and no one wants to open their window to assist you .They literally look at you standing there for several minutes before they decide to open a window. And when they do please dont expect much. No eye contact, no how may l help you , or do you have a question. Unfortunately this was not my first experience. But it is definitely the last .

Very disappointing experience with this Avis car rental. Here are the reasons: (1) We got an upgrade when picking up the car, which was a glad surprise. However, very soon we started to feel disgusted because of the strong smell of smoking inside. (2) Then, to our great surprise, we found the tire pressure was only 27psi for one tire (while the other three were 38psi). We had to rush to a gas station to pump it up. We can't believe that a rental car from Avis would be like that! (3) When we returned the car, we reported to the staff about the smoking smell issue, but it was not taken seriously. We had to repeat our request (asking the staff to keep a record) before he jotted down our last name carelessly. (4) What was most unacceptable: We returned the car around 1:30pm on Sun, Feb 12, but I just found on the e-receipt it says the car was returned at 8:50pm. Our flight (United 6079) boarded around 2:30pm on that day, how could I return the car at 8:50pm? As a result of this big mistake, I was charged for an additional day. Overall, we were very disappointed! I need to get the additional one-day over-charge back. We used to have a good impression of Avis, and that was why we chose Avis. But this time it was more than disappointing!

Avis at the columbus airport was awesome especially with the ground staff. The speed of dispatch and empathy was amazing. I change my mind for better on Avis rental; Avis all the way!!!!

I have consistently received a rather newer and clean car, and sometimes pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade. Picking/dropping vehicle has been without a hitch.
