They've spend all week vilifying a obviously mentally ill woman for filing a false missing child report on a 4 year child that lived in a different state, is much older than reported and is completely safe. Isn't it a part of policing that police departments all over the world get unfounded reports that they manage to handle and close without reporting on the news how upset members of the police department feel because of a single unhinged women? What a group of cry babies! Isn't that part of the reason why police departments have investigators? So, instead of telling the public that the girl is safe, the report should have not been filed, the woman was arrested on other changes and hopefully she'll get the help she needs now that she's in custody...this department thinks that they somehow appear intelligent and competent that a mentally ill woman can have them chasing their tails for several days. There was a man on the news, stating he was one of her neighbors and filing a false report is the kind of thing this woman would do. The news people are better at conducting investigations than this police department! There must be at least one educated, mature, emotionally-evolved adult working for this department. I pray I never need the police here. The police department here in Columbus terrifies me!
