Honorable Peggy Bryant

Peggy Bryant was an extraordinary human being and one of the most admirable jurists in the United States. I had the privilege of working with her at the Franklin County Court of Appeals for nine years. The judges and employees of the court often referred to her at Saint Peggy. This was not said in a joking manner. She was not only a true scholar of the law, but also a compassionate, generous, and humble person. Judge Bryant insisted upon the highest standards of judicial excellence. I cannot thank her enough for the personal kindness she showed to me as well as the extraordinary example of legal scholarship. She touched so many lives. I was incredibly fortunate to know her and learn from her.
