RiteRug Flooring - Grandview

I went to the Rite Rug on Dublin Rd with a very specific request...pink carpet! My 84 year old mom had a pink carpet in her living room that was a little worse for wear. It was a certain color of pink of course. We had tried to look at other colors for her living room, but in the end, the whole family agreed that pink was the only option for the style of the room. When I came into Rite Rug I had already been to several other stores with no luck. Pink isn't exactly a popular floor color unless you are 6. I approached Jeff and told him what I needed, and he was more than happy to assist me. We found just the right color of pink for my moms living room and at a really good price as well. We joked about it being pink and when Jeff came out to measure, he agreed that we had made the right choice. The carpet was ordered and was scheduled for install within 2 weeks. The crew that came out was courteous clean professional and fast. They had the old carpet out and the new one in in record time! There unfortunately had to be a seam in the carpet, the crew was so good that you can not tell where it is located! The carpet is high quality with a soft flannel backing, and the pile is so soft. Needless to say my mom was thrilled! Which made me thrilled! Jeff called me a few days later to ask if mom and I were happy with it and the service, I told him that mom and the whole family was exceptionally pleased with our whole experience. It was a great experience from the moment I walked into Rite Rug, to the install and the follow up call from Jeff. So the moral of this review is, if you have an unusual request, Jeff and rite Rug can hook you up!

We had a good experience with Rite Rug. The sales person, Jeff was really helpful and responsive. The product he recommended is what we chose and we’re really happy with it, it’s great quality, looks and feels great. The carpet was installed within a week, and the installation was quick. The installers did not show up until around 3:30 pm on the day we scheduled so just be aware that they could really show up anytime on the scheduled day, so you have to be flexible. Overall a very positive experience.

Subcontracted for our wood floor sanding and staining in a larger remodel. Did not show up on first day scheduled when we’d moved all furniture in preparation. Then came one day to stain and couldn’t wait less than an hour for me to get home from work to verify the stain color in person. Proceeded to stain the floor too light and when we expressed concern said they’d be doing more staining the next day. Didn’t come the next day so had to wait the weekend. Then they just sealed, no additional stain as stated so sealed in wrong color. Also in the process didn’t remove shoe molds and damaged baseboards with careless sanding and also damaged a new walnut island that was part of the renovation, in 4 places. We have another company coming to redo it now and the professional who came out to bid on the job said both the sanding and sealing were not up to his standards. Do not recommend.
