Row House Fitness - CLOSED

I loved Row House. I felt accomplished and powerful. Loved seeing my stats after class. But then the newer GM came on after COVID. Wow did it go downhill from there. I signed up for a membership, told it was for one price for the lifetime of my membership. However, after 3 months it basically doubled. At the time I was okay paying the premium, but then the true colors of the poor management came out in full force. For a month, I couldn't log into schedule classes. I called almost weekly, left messages, emailed, texted, you name it. I actually had to call another location for help. So 1 month that I paid for but couldn't take classes because of their system and poor communication. I get things sorted out, 2 weeks later it happens again. So I try all the same stuff but I added a couple trips to the location. I got zero help. Another 6 weeks goes by. I pay my premium for something I can't even use. So I try to cancel but it took 3 more months for that to happen. I paid for 5 months and couldn't even use the service. You'd think when I explained that I wanted to keep my membership, they'd help. I thought they could waive my premiums for a couple months, but did they do the right thing? Nope. The GM never called me back. Not even to apologize. Total BS, in my opinion.

DO NOT JOIN...RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY. I tried to cancel my membership and was advised to fill out an online form. My cancellation was not processed until 30 days later and they rope you in to paying 1 final payment within a 30 day loop hole. I could not get ahold of a live body ( I called at least 3-4 times and left multiple voicemails) at this location to review my contract and the only live body that called me was the billing department. The class schedule is extremely limited and I never had a full class. I showed up one saturday because I did not want to get charged a late cancel and it was an "open row".

Good place to exercise but good luck when its time to cancel your membership! Sent emails and left voicemail a few times nobody get back to you to call. Very unprofessional.

This place has been absolutely awful about trying to cancel my contract. I asked the person at the front desk, I called, and I emailed. They never got back to me. Finally a week later they got to me. The next month they still charged me for my renewal even though I cancelled within their timeline. I will say the coaches are nice but whoever the manager or owner is, is awful at communication. They messaged me daily to join and when I wanted to cancel it was impossible to get in touch with them. I would recommend going with individual class passes and not a membership. The lack of communication is very unprofessional. Im very disappointed in this company.

I signed up for a power class for this evening and when I got there was told it was a virtually led class. I asked if there was any way for me to have known it was virtually led ahead of time and was told "no, since it's still a power class just led virtually, it wouldn't say". I feel like I was ripped off. If I had wanted a virtually led class I would've looked up a video on YouTube and saved myself the trouble to drive across town for this class. I'm so disappointed. We were all watching a video from a tiny screen in front. Some in the back row commented they couldn't even see the screen. The least that they could do would be to project the video on the larger overhead screens. This type of class should not cost the same as a class led with an in person instructor. The aspects I've loved about row house in Dublin are the fun music, the instructor that calls out your name, the opportunity to row with a group goal on the screen, and the dimmed lights weren't a part of this class. This class didn't have any of that. I would not return to the Polaris location and am frustrated that this was such a rip off.
