The booking process may be the worst Ive experienced. You are required to go through a software system ahead of time that requires you take selfies of yourself, pictures of your id, pictures of you with your credit card and provide a bunch of additional information. I thought I had completed all of the requirements but on the day of the reservation ended up spending 2 hours of on the phone with their customer support in order to be able to actually check in for the reservation that I had already been charged for. Not worth the hassle. Avoid like the plague if youre looking for a seamless process for a reservation and stay.

Our stay started off with having to deal with Airriva, the company who does the booking, and it was frustrating but not enough to warrant this review. The room was fine, we had some annoyances, the lights in the hall coming on and waking us up because there are windows to the hall in our room, no control over the temperature, so we were too hot, slow communication with the company when we had issues, etc but the reason why my review is so low is because of what just happened a month later. I received a message from a woman saying she was booking a stay with Airriva and she received a credit card authorization form with ALL MY HUSBANDS AND IS CREDIT CARD AND PERSONAL INFORMATION. They sent her a form to fill out but it already had our information on it! Who knows how many people they have sent that to?! What kind of business are they running that this could even happen?! Completely unacceptable. Your credit card info is at risk if you book with Airriva, plain and simple.

We stayed for four nights at the Schwartz Castle and had a wonderful time! This building has so much history and is lovely renovated! All rooms are clean, stylish, comfortable and have a lot of details. The Schwartz Castle is located in the German village of Columbus, surrounded by beautiful cafes and delicious restaurants. We have been in Columbus for a tradeshow and the ride to the convention center only took us five minutes. The Schwartz Castle itself is worth a visit, and if you can combine it with touring Columbus, its a no-brainer to book this Airbnb! We will be back, next time also for a private stay!
