This place is terrible. I went in for anxiety, paranoia and thoughts of self harm. The groups were boring food was mid and you constantly for woke up by loud mouth techs roaming the hallway. Do yourself a favor and find a good therapist.

This place should be condemned. I am a cancer patient, as well as immunocomprised and have uncontrolled seizures. I emphasize stay away from this place. First of all you have to be medically cleared to be on a floor such as this one. The first night I was there this horrible tech said you won't be getting any medications until the next day. I'm on over 40 medications, for my survival. I was on the floor for less than 24 hours seizing, fell flat on my back hitting the base of my head. Two techs pulled me up by my arms, causing injury to bilateral shoulders. It took them over 6 hours to call EMS. I was transported to Ohio State University Hospital. In the hospital, medical floor not psych. For 5 days released yesterday. In my opinion with being an outstater, from a different state the hospitals in Columbus across the board are deplorable.

My husband was taken there after being released to them after a diabetic ketoacidosis attack, he is a type 1 diabetic and is not being monitored or properly given his insulin after being on a pump for almost 15 years they have a "protocol" they have to follow and can't respond to his personal needs based on his knowledge and my knowledge of his condition. They say he's schizophrenia, psychotic, and manic bipolar as to why he's there. He's currently in a high sugar level reading after waiting all day for his level to be taken, and unable to be corrected properly due to the rules of the facility. Meaning he's going to be back in the intensive care unit if he survives it. Yet I can't seem to be able to get a hold of anyone that can do what is needed for him at the facility.

this place is horrible, i went in for depression and suicidal thoughts, the next day i felt perfectly fine (im bipolar) and i told the doctor and she gave me the nastiest response and when i asked for discharge papers she said well youll be here for a while so get comfy NEVER go here. the staff are so unprofessional, me and another girl had to work while we were in there and take a nice elderly lady to the bathroom because the nurses wouldnt do it and one nurse forced this lady into the shower, then the same woman had a seizure and was turning blue and they didnt do the normal things you do for a seizure just gave her ativan and had a crash cart on stand by. they all need to go back to school or get out of the field. horrible service, horrible food, horrible place to be.
