I believe the Ohio Pharmacy Board started with good intentions as do most regulatory bodies. Unfortunately, they seem to have fallen victim to the same pit falls that so many regulatory bodies do. They have created redundancies, unnecessary steps in the application process, unnecessary and irrelevant requests for documentation. They have a great deal of confusion amongst their staff. They have no real educational presence but claim to be an entity that wants everyone to be safe and that they help in that process. If fining organizations monetarily is deemed the same thing as education, then perhaps I am not well versed in what education truly is. Education should precede penalty, not follow penalty. Penalty should never be used for generating revenue. Essentially the Pharmacy Board is the equivalent of traffic cameras in small cities. There is a line in a John Cougar song that I'd like to share with all inspectors and field agents within the Pharmacy Board, "Calling it your job don't make it right". I would challenge the Pharmacy Board to reevaluate their mission statement and ask these basic questions: "Are we here to make Ohio safer?" "If so, is it better to do so through education rather than through penalty? "Is our mission to close small business and increase the footprint of big corporations, or is it to support small businesses through education and stronger tools of communication?" Look inward Ohio Pharmacy Board and ask yourselves what you can do to be a more productive and proactive organization instead of the town bully.

I've tried contacting multiple people at the board/MMCP, file pharmacy complaints, etc and the Board never follow up with me. On rare occasion they will respond back and tell me they're forwarding to appropriate department. Once the issue is looked into they will contact me with what happened. But they NEVER do. I understand they're busy but all I want is someone to give me some answers

Why are your pharmacists and pharmacy techs involved in my personal life and buisness. At Walgreens in Dayton they seem to be on a vigilante quest with the rest of Dayton, purely unprofessional and unethical, I will be moving my prescription from a buisness that employees individuals who actually harass the disabled.
