Terrible communication. Tried to get us to sign our closing documents with the wrong cost numbers and claimed they would fix it afterwards.

On 12/17 we closed on our new home. The title company received a check at closing and were responsible to submit payment to our home warranty and insurance company. On 12/19, I had to contact the home warranty company, the hot water tank (which is a covered item) went out. I was told that payment had not been received, therefore, I could not file a claim because I technically didn't have a warranty yet. I called First American that same day and was told that a check was sent via snail mail. On 12/23, I started getting notices from our flood insurance company that our policy was at-risk due to nonpayment. I contacted the company and she stated that a check was sent to the flood insurance and should have not been cancelled. I called the home warranty company back on 12/27, they still had not received payment. She said that she would call the insurance so they won't cancel the policy. On 12/29 I received a notice that my policy was cancelled due to nonpayment. The lack of urgency in getting this matter resolved is upsetting. They have not been proactive in resolving this matter. As of today, nothing has been resolved.
