The downtown area is such an ambiance at night. I love that they have added the swings, tables and seating along the Scioto mile! The only downside is the discouragement of sitting on the swings as there are often homeless people that use them as beds. I feel for those who do sleep there and don't believe in necessarily trying to disturb whatever serenity they may receive while sleeping in the area, as it may be safer than others. Although, I do think of it as a sanitation issue so I haven't swung even though I really want to. (In a world of every virus there is, I don't know why I'm over thinking the swing part but, whatever). As a person who comes from the inner city I'm not fearful of homeless people but if you aren't prone to seeing things like that then you may not be able to overlook how beautiful everything else really is Go have a date night! Embrace the beauty of downtown and the tranquility that the water and all its reflective beauty has to offer!
