The facility is immaculate, well taken care of and the architecture is pleasing to the eye. Inside is very clean and easily navigated. The upper story provides the city council chamber which also doubles as the Madeira Mayors Court. The lower level is home to the cities police department. The staff I encountered were very pleasant with a good sense of humor as well.

My wife and I were married by Mayor Traci Theis. We would highly recommend her for wedding ceremonies. ______________________________________________________________ In October 2018, my wife and I were married at Madeira City hall, by Mayor Traci Theis. We were very pleased with the ceremony as Mayor Theis had thoughtfully prepared notes and took the time to be welcoming to all who attended, which happened to be immediate family. Mayor Theis also spent some time with our niece and explained her roll as mayor and even let my niece bang the gavel a few times. This turned out to be a very positive take away for our niece. Overall, it seemed that Mayor Theis really enjoyed being apart of this process with us, and it showed. I normally do not post comments, but I wanted to make a note for those who may consider using Mayor Theis to perform their wedding. My wife and I do not know anyone who had ever gone through this process (being married at a city hall) so we had no idea what to expect. We had read some negative reviews (nothing to do with Mayor Theis or Madeira) so we were slightly nervous. We had planned to be married in our church, but the timeline didnt work, so our church had suggested a civil ceremony and then later we would do a ceremony with our church (which will be happening in a few short weeks). In the end, everything happened in a whirlwind of activity, but all of it was very positive and memorable. What was a nice bonus is that Mayor Theis and the folks at Madeira city hall had no problems with us taking pictures. Which we took a fair amount, both inside and out. We also had reservations at one of the nice restaurants in the near by area of Kenwood. Overall, it was a really great experience.
