The hotel has definitely been used. Dim lighting in the room. Elevators only work on one side of the building because of the reported fire a year ago in the elevator on the other side.

All I can say is you can do better. Ive stayed at various Hiltons around the country and this location is the worst experience. Staff were nice and polite, the 300 calorie warm cookie was awesome. However, upon hitting the lobby the smell of chlorine blows you out of the water; I can imagine a similar smell on a ww1 battleground. Additionally, once we reached our hall the smell of mold was overwhelming I was about to call the ghostbusters. The room somehow smelled ok but was bizarrely laid out. The wall switch in the bedroom didnt do anything for lighting but later found out it turned the refrigerator off and on in the adjacent room. The toilet was also weirdly close to the sink and getting in and out of the shower was like climbing in and out of an 18-wheeler. If the mold and chlorine doesnt kill you the fall out of the bath will. At least you will die clean.
Moreover, when I walked through the pool room I noticed the ceiling was missing some parts and large brown stains were everywhere. I can imagine at one time this was a nice place but the humidity and pool maintenance obviously overwhelmed their budget. I suggest if you have business in Cleveland pay the extra few dollars a night and stay in the city. Im sick I spent 50,000 points on this place but I learned a lesson.
Rooms: Stay in rooms that have outside view the pool view is to close to the humidity and screaming kids.
Safety: Health hazard in areas

The pool is in such a cool space because it's in the center of the hotel with skylight windows and has more of a courtyard vibe rather than being in a separate room. The second floor has a balcony overlooking the pool with some seating.
The hot tub is smaller with max occupancy of 8. There were a lot of parents and kids in there when I was there so I didn't end up using it.
The fitness center was also nice amenity. One of the treadmills was broken and there was some other stuff clearly in need of maintenance. There was filtered water and clean towels available.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Some of our furniture seemed a little shabby and in need of update or repair. Loved the mini fridge and desk.
Food & drinks: We had drinks at the bar and ordered room service. We weren't sure what to expect because there were so many mixed reviews. The food was really excellent! We got the salmon power bowl and the short rib pizza as well as pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. All three were 5/5 for us.
The breakfast buffet was also really good. Lots of hot food options on heated catering trays like bacon, sausage and eggs, biscuits and gravy, French toast, oatmeal, and yogurt+ fruit & granola. Orange and apple juice, milk cartons. Highly recommend paying the room rate which includes breakfast if you are planning to eat breakfast there because it ends up being very cheap compared to paying day of.
Hot coffee available in the lobby as well as the buffet.
