They raise their rent by appx 10% every 6 months or so. Yet I haven't seen anyone in the office in over a year. I visit 1-2 times per month. They're more than making enough to hire someone for front office duties. 3 stars because it is kept very clean.

No customer protection anyone can break into units without consequence, and unit price has risen over $50 in a few years. A while back I was suspicious that my ex would attempt to break into my storage unit. I called and let northwest self storage know the situation and that I would like to change my gate code. I was told no because the gate was under construction. I asked if they could somehow flag my account because I had no plans to use my storage unit whatsoever and that if my unit was accessed it wasnt going to be me, and that they contact me if it was accessed. I was reassured this would be accommodated. About two weeks later I get a call saying my lock has been broken. My unit was accessed TWICE since the phone call I had with them, a whole WEEK before they discovered the broken lock and finally notified me. They do not have video cameras in the hallway my unit is in, at all and they refused to cooperate with any other video footage from the gate. The police could not do anything because there was no video, and it was purely vandalism nothing was taken. At the end of this interaction with Northwest self storage I feel my personal belongings are not being protected appropriately and that they did not handle this situation very well at all. This was completely preventable, as I warned them and yet they still let my unit get vandalized.
