The Mason Williams

I absolutely loved my time at the MW. Large and spacious apartments and balconies with quality features. Fantastic location on North Williams close to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. One of the greatest things about living at the MW is Avin, the apartment manager and her team. Avin cares about her tenants and is extremely responsive - ensuring all maintenance requests are fixed in an extremely timely fashion, providing building and neighborhood updates, all the way down to caring and checking in on any packages to ensure residents get them safely. If I didnt move out of state Id be at the MW for many years!

I LOVED living at the Mason Williams! My apartment was on the 3rd floor facing the east side and I rented it because of the view. The trees were so peaceful and on a clear day I could see Mt. Hood. Avin (property manager) was just a joy to work with. She was always so helpful and responsive when I needed it. I definitely recommend living here - amenities were clean and easily accessible!

My partner and I are moving out at the end of the month to be closer to his daughter's school. Honestly, I really wish we could just take The Mason Williams with us! We have had the best experience living here. Avin is so friendly and extremely helpful, and her communication is amazing with everything. The buidling is in a very walkable area. Despite it being Portland, I feel safe walking to and from my car late at night or early in the morning. From the price to the location, we are recommending The Mason Williams to anybody.

My wife and I made our home in the MW for over 5 years. The apartment layouts are spacious and well designed and the building immaculately maintained. Any maintenance issues are addressed immediately. Rents are very reasonable for Portland apartment complexes. We utilized the community room on several occasions for entertaining. Again beautifully equipped space with a roll-up door for warm weather evenings. The Fitness Room could have been a tad larger. Williams Avenue is where it all seems to be happening in Portland these days. Great coffee spots, brewpubs, bars, restaurants and pizza. AND 2 awesome bakeries right outside the front door. Great New Seasons Market within walking distance. The 44 bus serving downtown picks up a block away and drops you at the front door. We have moved East to be near family and friends. We will miss the stunning views of Mt.Hood at sunrise and the ever smiling facing of Avin, the resident manager.

I moved into The Mason Williams 2 years ago when I moved to Portland from CA. The building is nice and well kept. It's cozy, quiet, and situated in a great walkable neighborhood with the Mississippi neighborhood just a brief walk away as well. There is a good exercise room which can be reserved for whatever period of time you like, a feature an introvert like me really loved. There is an Amazon locker for all packages which notifies you once delivered and keeps your items safe until you are able to retrieve them. The building was built with sustainability in mind, is LEED certified, and has some great features in terms of water use and energy savings which drew me to it originally as a sustainability professional. Lastly but most importantly, Avin the property manager is absolutely amazing at her job. I am a long time nomad who has moved 16 times in my life. I've had experience with everything from private landlords to large management companies. Avin is truly the best I've encountered. She is an email or text away with anything you may need and was incredibly helpful to me many times over the two years I was there. She runs a tight ship and I appreciated it greatly in my time there. Can't recommend this building along with Avin and staff enough. -Chris Batterson
