Normally, you see reviews of when folks first move into their homes and are in the total honeymoon phase. So I wanted to drop in a review after being here for a year. I still have the same feelings I did when I first met Simona and Jonathan! They take such pride in making the building clean and cared for and have even gone out of their way to host community events to show appreciation for current residents. Both my partner and I only have the best things to say about the entire team at The Strauss as well as the amenities. So thank you for always bringing the best hospitality to us here month after month!

Predatory Management company. Charging late fees 150 a pop during pandemic.

The Strauss is really a community, with neighbors and staff ready to offer assistance if the need should arise. The leasing staff is available and responsive to tenant needs, and they will go the extra mile for you and more. Maintenance is taken care of promptly and the common areas of the building are beautiful and well maintained. The apartments have a neat selection of floor plans, so you are sure to find a layout that is right for you. The pet policy is pretty standard, and when we needed time to get a doctor's letter for one of our cats the leasing staff worked with me to get everybody squared away. Your furry family will be happy here, too. We've been here 2 years and plan to renew our lease for another year. With transportation, retail and restaurants near by, this is an excellent location - so many transportation options that you can get anywhere in the city or Washington county in minutes. Excellent staff, great location and nice amenities are all here at the Strauss. But the real selling point for me is the spirit of goodwill shown by staff and neighbors. We were in a bad situation with both of us in the hospital and everyone stepped up like family. We were in a real jam but thanks to the community here, we were able to take care of our health knowing that our pets were being fostered for us. The staff took a personal interest to make sure we were ok, and how many apartment managers can you say that about? We highly recommend The Strauss at Burnside.
