        My tax preparation fees more than doubled from last year. Same form, same employer, same income, same tax preparation company as last year. The only difference between then and 2022 is we received a 1095-A from the Healthcare Marketplace that had to be reconciled. They charged us $300 for a 1040! If Id have filed online, it would have been $80. You just lost a 3 time repeat customer. We are getting older, we cant afford to waste money nor time working with Jackson Hewitt.
