        Janet is the best!!! We didn't realize the store was closing at 8 (we must need to get our ears checked), she stopped closing her register and quickly helped us all with a smile on her face! Thanks again Janet, your friends from Lancaster and Carlisle. :)

        These earrings were bought for me on a Black Friday sale. They were to be a birthday present. Unfortunately, when I went to put them on, the one would not latch. We took them back to the jewelry department and was informed that nothing could be done as we were past the 60-day return policy window . No notice on their counters about this policy , and the buyer was not informed and nothing on the receipt except to check out their return policy on line . On line...really....some customers do not have computers! The manager of the jewelry department was rude and said we could get an estimate to get them fixed! They would not even consider an exchange. We have shopped at JC Penney's for years. No more!

        Bought 4 items for a total of nearly $400. A suit jacket, vest, pants and shirt in order to be prepared for court. 4 items. Of course the vest kept its security tag on it so I could not wear it to the court appearance, and will now have to drive another 30 minutes each way to have it removed.
